We offer membership opportunities throughout the year at OKC First Church of the Nazarene. We have traditional classes that meet during the Sunday School hour as well as one-on-one meetings with Pastor Jason Smith if the Sunday School classes do not work for you. The classes and meetings cover what it means to be a Nazarene. We discuss our core values (Christian, Holiness, Missional), articles of faith, church history, the differences between denominations, and expectations of our denomination. We also talk about what it means to belong to OKC First Church of the Nazarene. This conversation focuses on the history of our local church and the expectations that we have of our church members as they are learning to be a Christian who participates in Friendship with God, Friendship with One Another, and Open Friendship for the Sake of the World.

 

The classes and conversations are informational in nature. If you are interested in becoming a member after hearing about what it means to be a Nazarene and a member of OKC First, there will be an opportunity for you to go through a membership ceremony during a morning worship service.
