THE MEDIA TEAM
The Media Team consists of two groups: the slides team and the balcony team.
The slides team designs the announcement slides that are displayed in the atrium and in the sanctuary before the service. We use Microsoft Powerpoint and continually loop the slides each week so you get the latest information.
The balcony team has two people working each Sunday: a camera person and a computer person. We generally try to keep six people in the rotation for each spot, so you only have to work one Sunday out of every six.
The camera person is responsible for running the cameras and recording the service each week. Using multiple cameras and a feed from the computer, we are able to record everything while adding picture in picture so the viewer does not miss anything.
The computer person controls the projectors, slides, videos, and other various computer components during the service. We use a variety of software and programs to help everything run smoothly and produce the best possible experience on the screens during the service.
